Norbert Waysberg , born 01/10/1961 ,  Paris , France.

Paris :  sculpture and drawing in Paris at ADAC art school :

In May 2006 ,  I moved to New York from Paris.

Since then , I have been studying  at the Art Students League of New York with Eric Albert  the ink techniques,  with Marc Robert Cenedella and Peter Homitzky  in oil painting and Federic Brosen water colors.

In my art exploration ,I love to use ink , water colors on very large size paper, oil or encaustic painting to explore the force of colors , play with the power of light and contrast in order to awake emotions and inner peace through the expression of bodies , stormy skies and still life.

I've always been attracted to Japanese culture and practiced zazen and Martial arts. When I paint I have the feeling to be in front of a mirror of my emotions , fears , imperfections , dreams , illusions , limits and then when I move through it I feel an immense happiness with the dance of forms and colors . This is a dynamic meditation. When I use ink on paper or water color for my abstract work , I have the feeling to be on the brink of life and death because you can't erase or make any mistake and most part of the time the result is like life , a miracle.
